Who handles your purchase
Orders on this site are sold and processed by Tebex, our merchant of record. Tebex handles your payment, invoice and order data under its own privacy policy.
What this site stores in your browser
Three things, all needed for the site to work: the NEXT_LOCALE cookie, which remembers your language for a year; the NEXT_CURRENCY cookie, which remembers the currency prices are shown in, also for a year; and the element-labs-basket entry in local storage, which holds the identifier of your cart so it survives a reload. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
Signing in
Signing in goes through Cfx.re via Tebex. Tebex links your cart to your Cfx.re account and shares your username and Cfx.re ID with the cart, which is how the site shows who is signed in and where your scripts are delivered.
Payments
Checkout opens in a Tebex window. Your payment details go to Tebex and its payment providers; they never reach Element Labs.
Currency conversion
Prices in other currencies use reference exchange rates that our server fetches once a day. Nothing about you is sent with that request.
Product videos
A product video is a still image until you press play. Only then does the page load the player from youtube-nocookie.com, and from that moment YouTube receives your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy.
Recent purchases on the home page
When the store shows its recent purchases, a purchase appears there with the Cfx.re username and picture of the account that made it, and the product bought when the list includes it, as Tebex publishes them. The picture is served through this site, so your browser does not contact the Cfx.re forum for it.
